Elgato EyeTV 3

I upgraded the software for my computer’s TV Tuner to EyeTV 3. I like it.

IS it really worth $40 thought for a few new feature and more eye candy? I’m tempted to sit this one out

Still playing with it. I like the Smart Guides and the fact you can set them to automatically record. The channel overlay is nice and the interface certainly has improved visually. I guess it depends on the feature set and what you might use. I always felt like V2 was only half-way there. Your mileage may vary.

OK, I’ve been using it for about a week now and I’m sold. No single feature is the killer app for me, but I just like the way it looks and works. I’m happy with the $40 I spent.
