iPhone – Yeah, Me Too

iPhoneI couldn’t resist. I bought one too. I have to admit, my experience was great. I headed to an Apple store at 10:30 PM after doing some interviews for an upcoming Disneyland Podcast. I was in and out of the store with my new iPhone in under 3 minutes. It is set up and activated. Friends coming over in the morning, I better figure out how to show this thing off.

Update: This thing is amazing. Everything works as advertised. I am sure that I’ll discover some issue or frustrations, but for now: Wow. It is rare a new device is everything you’d expect. Bravo Apple! My Treo 680 is already in the desk drawer. (Watching West Side Story in it’s correct aspect ration as I type this. Finally, a widescreen ipod!)

Disneyland Podcast, Want to Be In it?

Official Dineyland Resort PodcastPeople always ask, so here you go. We will be on location recording an upcoming Official Disneyland Resort Podcast this Friday, June 29th. You can find us at 6:30PM in front of the entrance to the Pirates of The Caribbean attraction. Just look for me, the guy with the microphone. No guarantees, but this is a great chance if you are interested. This is a last minute idea, and I have no idea how much reach my personal site has for Disneyland fans, but hopefully the folks from Laughing Place, Mouse Planet etc. will spread the word.
I look forward to seeing you if you’d like to be on the podcast. Regardless, we are covering some great stuff this month!

Visit from the Duck’s Stanley Cup

One of the players for the Anaheim Ducks brought the Stanley Cup by my son’s swim meet this morning.

Ultraman is a Winner!

UltramanEver notice how as a parent, when you try to introduce your children to something you thought was cool as a kid it often does not take? Sure, there is Star Wars, but beyond that it gets difficult. Well, I finally hit a home run with Ultraman. My five year old, Nick, loves it! We have spent all week watching the Science Patrol and Ultraman battle the threats to the planet. Fun stuff.

BTW, click the image for a fun effect.

Cover of Blogger & Podcaster

Blogger & PodcasterI participated in a roundtable discussion along with Seth Godin (Purple Cow and The Dip) and Glenn Reynolds (Instapundit) about growing audience size for Blogger and Podcaster magazine which is featured as the cover story. It was great discussion and I have to admit, it is cool to make the cover of a magazine. You can see the issue online here.
